Indian Navy invites applications from eligible candidates to apply ON-LINE through website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in for various Group ‘B NG)’ and Group ‘C’ posts at various Commands (application in other forms of mailing will not be accepted). Selected candidates normally will have to serve in the Units under administrative control of respective Commands, however they can be posted anywhere in India, in Naval units / formations as per administrative requirement. Education Details

The applicants who have done the below-written education from the approved organization/academy can submit the forms for the INCET exam of the Navy for Civilian posts. 

• BSC Degre
• Diploma
• 10th with ITI 
• 12th class 

The applicant must meet the minimum qualification required under the post he wishes to apply for, such as a B.Sc degree in Physics for Chargeman posts, 12th pass and elementary fire course for Fireman posts, etc.  Candidates can check their educational qualifications for each post mentioned in the notification link mentioned below.

Application Fees

The application fees of Rs. 295/- will be charged from General, EWS, and OBC candidates to apply for the Indian Navy Civilian Recruitment 2024. The candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD, ESM category, and Female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Age Limit

The age limit for the post of Chargeman (Mechanic) and Scientific Assistant is 18-30 Years. The age limit for Fireman and Fire Engine Driver Posts is 18-27 Years. The age limit for other posts (Fireman, Tradesman Mate, MTS, Cook, etc.) is 18-25 Years. The crucial date for the calculation of the age limit is 2.8.2024. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.

The online applications will be invited from 20 July to 2 August 2024. The written exam date will be notified later by the Indian Navy
