Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) was established at Hyderabad in 1963 with a mission to develop advanced materials, innovative process technologies and related product engineering, supported by basic and applied research for modern Defence applications.The vision of DMRL is to be a center of excellence for providing total material solutions for Defence systems.
DMRL proposes to engage ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961(Amended 2015, 2019) purely for ONE YEAR apprenticeship Training in the following mentioned trades.Stipend will be provided as per the Apprenticeship rules.

Essential Qualification
ITI Pass in Respective Trades (Candidates who have passed ITI qualifying examination from NCVT and SCVT as a regular candidate only are eligible.)
Selection Process for the ITI Apprentice Vacancies
The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the relevant field. With a high score, candidates will be called for an Interview, followed by a document verification process. Selected candidates at the time of joining will have to bring the following certificates
- Police Verification Certificate from their local police station
- Conduct/Character Certificate from the head of the previous educational institute.
- A physical fitness certificate from a Civil Assistant Surgeon.
- SSC Certificate,
- ITI Certificate
- Caste/PWD Certificate
- Copy of Bank Passbook
- Adhar Card
- 1 Recent Passport-Size Photograph

The registration number is to be filled in the Google form while filling the application. The registration number will further be verified at the time of selection/document verification.
