SSC SI In Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF ) & Delhi Police Recruitment 2024| 4187 Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Vacancies.

 

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Candidates selected for appointment to posts of SI in CAPFs are liable to serve anywhere in India.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2024):

Educational Qualification for all posts :-

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply.

For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only:-

Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub-Inspector in CAPFs only.

Age limit

Age limit for the posts is 20-25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2004 to be eligible to apply.

Pay scale

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs :-

 Level-6  (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police:-

Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

Application Fee

Fee payable: Rs.100/-

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters.

Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully.

After the application is successfully submitted, candidates should take printout of the application form for their own records.

Candidates in their own interest should submit online applications much before the closing date and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the ssc website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
