Job Description
Nurses to work as Senior Clinical Advisors (Band 6 Salary) required to work in the Integrated Urgent Care/NHS 111 Service for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust in the UK. (Location: Wakefield - North of England).
FACE-TO-FACE interview in APRIL/MAY 2024
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- IELTS/OET as per NMC requirements
- IELTS Academic (R: 7.0 ; S: 7.0; R:7.0; W:6.5) OR
- OET (R: B ; S: B; R:B; W:C+)
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in Emergency/Critical care department (or very similar)
- excellent communication skills
Need to pass the NMC OSCE exam, and the NHS Pathways exam after reaching UK. (Those who cannot pass NHS Pathways and examination, will be offered an interview as a registered nurse in another NHS trust after passing NMC OSCE exam)

Job roles
- This is a call centre role, not a patient-facing role
- NHS 111 is aa telephone service which is available 24/7 to patients with urgent healthcare needs; providing assessment and clinical advice by telephone
- Working on the telephone providing clinical triage and community care/family centred/first assessment
- Clinical queue management, including signposting patients to alternative healthcare providers such as attending an Emergency Department, visiting a pharmacy or speaking to a General Practitioners
