About National AYUSH Mission (NAM)
The National AYUSH Mission (NAM) is a government program that aims to promote and develop the traditional systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. The mission was launched in 2014 with the goal of making these systems more accessible to the public and improving the quality of education and training in these fields. The mission also focuses on research and development to improve the effectiveness of these traditional medical systems and to integrate them with modern healthcare.
