UPSC is a Constitutional Body under Article 315-323 Part XIV Chapter II of the Constitution of India to discharge their duties, functions and obligations assigned under Article 320. The UPSC conducts various examinations in accordance with the Rules of examination as notified by the Government of India in a just, fair and impartial manner for making a merit based selection and recommendation of candidates for various Group A and Group B Services of the Govt. of India.
Online applications are being accepted from qualified and interested applicants through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to fill 395 positions for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).
National Defence Academy
Army
Vacancies : 208 (including 10 for female candidates)
Educational qualification:
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Navy
Vacancies : 42 (including 03 for female candidates)
Educational qualification:
12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Air Force
Vacancies : Flying – 92 (including 02 for female candidates), Ground Duties (Tech) – 18 (including 02 for female candidates), Ground Duties (Non Tech) – 10 (including 02 for female candidates)
Educational qualification:
12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)
Vacancies : 25 (for male candidates only)
Educational Qualification
12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Age Limit
Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2004 and not later than 1st July, 2007
Candidates from the reserved categories of SC, ST, PWD, women, and everyone else shall have the upper age restriction relaxed in accordance with government regulations.
Application fee
Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/female candidates/Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking of any Bank.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
