Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
Scale of Pay
Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2022)
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2022 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2001 and not earlier than 02.04.1992 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in Upper age limit shall be as below:
Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes - 5 Years
Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 Years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – PwBD (SC/ ST) - 15 Years
PwBD (OBC) - 13 Years
PwBD (Gen/ EWS) - 10 Years
Ex Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment. - 5 years
Selection Procedure
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-Phase process:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination :- Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections
Phase-II: Main Examination :- Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
Phase-III: Psychometric Test :- The Bank may conduct Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III.
Final Selection : The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. Selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
Examination Centres
The examinations will be conducted online at venues across many centres in India. No request for change of Examination Centre/Date/Session shall be entertained. The centres for the Main Examination will be limited.

How To Apply
- First scan the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration as in the notification.
- Visit Bank’s website given below and open the Online Application Form, available under ‘Current Openings’.
- Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled completely, candidates should submit their data.
- After rechecking and ensuring correctness of the particulars in the application form, candidate should pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, by following the instructions available on the screen.
- The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
- On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated, which may be printed for record.
- If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online.
- There is also a provision to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage.
